As some of you may already know, we have a small side business called Grounded Grazing. We help our peers implement rotational grazing practices, and we sell electric fencing and grazing supplies. We are excited to announce that we are now also a dealer for UBCO 2×2 electric bikes!
We’ve been checking out UBCO bikes from New Zealand online for several years, and we were really excited to hear they were finally coming to Canada. We are eager to decrease our dependence on fossil fuels and can’t wait to replace most of the gas ATVs on our ranch with these sweet bikes. We’ve wanted to make this switch for a long time, but haven’t found any other option rugged enough to handle ranch life. But these things are stomper!
During this year’s range season, we tested the 2×2 UBCO work bikes for the first time. While we intend to use these bikes primarily around the ranch for irrigation and chores, we were amazed when one of these bikes completed a 40 km round-trip with a 4500′ elevation gain and still had 30% battery power remaining!
